At Camp Shelby, Henry's rank is T5. When he joins the 442nd C Company, his rank is Buck Sergeant, then Communication Sergeant. The original 100th is from Hawaii. By the time Henry joins the 100th, only the officers are the original 100th. Henry has a Hawaiian Officer, and the Weapons Platoon has a Hawaiian Officer too. The 1st and 2nd Platoon have Caucasian Officers. Henry says the Hawaiian Officers are excellent leaders.
