INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT: Interviewer: Do you ever talk to them about the war? They ask so we tell them. But I don't know if they’re listening with their mind open or shut because every time I talk to them they only laugh at us, so they’re not taking it serious. But when I show them my Purple Heart like that, then they kind of settle down and you know, they think a little bit. And I show the ribbons, too. You have to get some kind of proof that you went and you got for what we did. If you don't have the proof, they won't acknowledge anything. But if you show them that what we did is for our country, then they will think and then I hope they’ll follow our footstep.
