Shigeru says compare to the 100th, he has it easier. Shigeru says he is always sent to different companies as an aide man. Every platoon has at least one aide man. In the medic unit, there are 45 men. There are seven companies. A standard battalion company would have three rifle companies and one heavy weapon. However, Shigeru's battalion company has two extra rifles companies, E and F.

They take a rest for two weeks before continuing.
