GO FOR BROKE RESOURCE CENTER SERVICES

The Resource Center provides research assistance to Go For Broke National Education Center members, students, teachers and the general public (fees may be applicable) on individual veterans, units and battles. Research will be limited to bibliographies of the resource material where individual veterans; unit and campaign information appear in print or video. In cases where the source materials are out of print, arrangements can be made to provide persons requesting the information with copies of the sections in question. In most cases information such as Army Service Number (ASN), unit, and medals awarded can be provided.

The Resource Center staff is in contact with many Japanese American veterans of WWII and in some cases can provide information about other veterans, the unit and battles not typically cited or in print.

Other services include:

  • Photo replication - Go For Broke National Education Center private collection and public domain photos available
  • Speaker’s bureau - Schools and other nonprofit institutions may request WWII Nisei veteran speakers in Southern California region
  • Oral History Video Archive - Duplication based on usage requirements and policies and other video footage available

Please contact the resource center for schedule of fees, usage requirements and agreements.
