Free Admission for Students and Educators to Defining Courage Exhibition

ExhibitionThanks to a generous grant from Aratani Foundation, students and teachers can visit GFBNEC's Defining Courage Exhibition for free during the months of February, March, and April. Defining Courage seeks to educate, build character, and inspire equality by telling the story of the virtue and valor of our World War II American veterans of Japanese ancestry. This grant will help GFBNEC carry out our mission to share the veterans' story with a wider audience.

With the help of Aratani Foundation, GFBNEC hopes to encourage thousands of teachers and students to learn about the courage of World War II Nisei veterans and to think critically about courage and equality in their own lives. Individual students and educators can visit the exhibition free of charge from February 1 to April 30, 2017, simply by mentioning their status when arriving at GFBNEC's Defining Courage Exhibition.

Help us spread the word to any students and educators you may know!
