Go For Broke National Education Center – Torrance, California
Position:
Volunteer Outreach and Teen Youth Camp Assistant
Purpose:
To give students experience in marketing and building the volunteer program.
Major Duties:
Research and update contact lists for clubs, organizations, career centers, internship offices
Create informational packets to be sent out to schools
Plan outreach events, fairs, and/or orientations
Research and contact potential vendors, facilitators, speakers for Teen Youth camp
Other projects as needed
Time Commitment:
16-24 hours per week

Qualifications:
Strong computer skills
Strong organizational abilities
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn
Ability to work independently on tasks
Desire to learn about Japanese American history
Compensation:
