Position:
Development Research Intern

Purpose:
To gain a hands-on introduction to the intricacies, realities and processes of development (fundraising) – the lifeblood for most non-profit organizations, while learning about fundraising campaigns, special events and membership programs.

Major Duties:

• Assist with mailing campaigns (membership, special events, annual dinner)
• Assist with outreach/marketing for Go For Broke's annual dinner, Evening of Aloha
• Assist in the implementation of an on-line donation program
• Assist in developing outreach plan to market merchandise

Time Commitment:
Minimum 8 hrs/week (4-hour blocks preferred)

Number of Interns needed:
1 - 2

Qualifications:

• Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in learning about non-profit organizations

Compensation:
Stipend
