A Tradition Of Honor

To many Americans, the story of the Japanese American Heroes of World War II remains largely unknown. Narrated by Sab Shimono (Paradise Road, Come See the Paradise) "A Tradition of Honor" reveals the compelling accounts of the men who risked their lives in a time when a America questioned their loyalty and imprisoned their families. For its size and length of service, the 100/442 Regimental Combat Team became the most decorated unit in American military history.

This documentary features the testimonies of more than 40 veterans including the Military Intelligence Service, rare archive images from both sides of the battlefield and exclusive footage from the Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House. "A Tradition of Honor" is the story of a generation of Americans whose triumph over racial prejudice would forever redefine what it means to be an American.
