Go For Broke National Education Center – Torrance, California
Position:
Volunteer Outreach and Teen Youth Camp Assistant
Purpose:
To give students experience in marketing and building the volunteer program.
Major Duties:
- Research and update contact lists for clubs, organizations, career centers, internship offices
- Create informational packets to be sent out to schools
- Plan outreach events, fairs, and/or orientations
- Research and contact potential vendors, facilitators, speakers for Teen Youth camp
- Other projects as needed
Time Commitment:
16-24 hours per week
Number of Interns needed:
1
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently on tasks
- Desire to learn about Japanese American history
Compensation:
